About Me
Jesus Christ

Hey there!
My name is Monica (Auntee Monica to the younglings) and I hold just about every title a woman can hold. Daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, auntee… all of it!
I’ve been a self-taught graphic designer for almost 25 years and am now a digital illustrator. In the past, I’ve worked with a telecom company, Mary Kay directors, various churches, a gym, million-dollar real estate agencies, a worldwide syndicated television show, and many, many others. I’ve been known to randomly recreate a logo for a small business or non-profit (with permission) for free because the current one looked outdated, too busy, or was just plain bad design. I love and am inspired by the success of others, so if there’s anything I can do to help others succeed, I will do it.
Today, while I still do some graphic designing, I’m a self taught digital illustrator creating tutorials that help others teach themselves.

I'm a Christian Creative
I believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, the Creator who died for our sins, was buried, and that he rose again on the third day as foretold by prophecy. I believe the Bible is a unified story that leads to Jesus.
If you’ve been around for a while, then you know that this website started as a place for me to offer free Bible Study guides every month. I always intended for this website to grow beyond Bible studies, but I knew that it had to begin with a solid foundation of God’s blessings.
As my business grows, there will always be a way for you to learn about God’s word here on this website. It may not always be Bible Study Guides, but it will definitely be engaging and creative.
What I'm Passionate About
I suffer from chronic kidney disease, and although I received a kidney transplant in 2017, I still advocate on a state and national level. I work with the renal network in my state as a liaison between patients and physicians on the medical review board, and I also work with an organization contracted by CMS to help create and update nationwide educational resources for patients and caregivers.
My favorite charity is the American Kidney Fund. I’ve been advocating with them since my diagnosis in 2011. I’ve had many opportunities to use my voice to effect legislative change, including 2 trips to Capitol Hill, my state’s capital, and even speaking at Kidney Action Day with my father, who is also a transplant recipient.
AKF helps patients directly to pay for things like medications, co-pays, and even assist during disaster situations. $0.97 of every dollar they receive goes directly to the people who need help, so please consider donating.
