The body of Christ, as many may know, extends well beyond Jesus’ physical body. In fact, His resurrected body is the foundation of the body of Christ. In fact, I like to believe that the concept of Lego’s came from the body of Christ, literally.
Consider this. God is the Master Builder and his first brick, the most unique brick, is Jesus. This brick is so unique, it can hold 12 smaller, specialized bricks, aka His disciples. And from those bricks, God adds, and adds, and adds, until His masterpiece is complete. Think of this masterpiece, the body of Christ, as the formation of Jesus’ return.
To take this concept even further, each brick that God places is also unique, made only to fit together with the bricks around it. In other words, each brick has its own purpose that isn’t revealed until all of the bricks around it has been placed. It goes perfectly with Romans 12:5 that says, “so in Christ, we who are many are one body, and each member belongs to one another.” Yes! Each brick belongs to one another, just like each of us belongs to one another.
If you’re here for the Bible Study Guide for August, then I belong to you, and you belong to me. I create these guides for others to learn and share the word of God, therefore you and I are bricks in God’s masterpiece! Doesn’t it feel good to know that you are RIGHT where God strategically placed you in this very moment? For me, there’s no place I’d rather be!
As always, I pray that this study guide will help you grow even stronger in God’s word and enhance your relationship with Him tremendously!
Feel free to share the link to this page (not the actual file, please).
Blessings!

I loved the way you compared us to individual bricks, placed exactly right by the hand of our loving Father. I think I might use that for story time with my son.
Thank you for the amzing journals as well.
Thank you! My husband and I were discussing it and he came up with the idea. Our son is autistic and for the longest time that was the only toy he would play with, so legos have a special place in our hearts. I’d love to hear how your son likes your story! ❤️
