Spiritual Rebirth

How do you know when it’s time for a spiritual rebirth in your life? Have you noticed your focus has changed? Are you chasing after success? How bad do you want that β€œthing” you saw online? Are you using most of your energy to complete your goals? If any of this makes you feel β€œsome kinda way”, it’s probably time for a spiritual rebirth. Let’s go on a transformative journey that mirrors the path of the Apostle Paul.

Saul encountered a blinding light on the road to Damascus that immediately diverted his attention to Jesus (Acts 9:3-9). You may experience a moment of awakening that shatters your self-centered worldview, too. It probably won’t be as dramatic as Paul’s journey (blind for 3 days?!), but you’ll know that God is demanding your attention. You’ll experience a moment of awakening where divine mercy breaks through the darkness of your circumstances. You have 2 options from here. Ignore it, or let this encounter be the catalyst for your own spiritual rebirth.

A Life Transformed by Grace

The apostle formally known as Saul shed his old self and embraced a new identity. It’s time for you to do the same. You don’t have to change your name, but you do have to let go of the burdens that weigh you down. Step into a renewed sense of purpose and belonging. Accept that your worth is not defined by worldly standards but by the love and acceptance of your Creator.

Like Paul, you are called to share the transformative power of grace with others. Embrace a life of service and compassion, walking in the footsteps of Jesus. There will be challenges that may dissuade you. But remember that the same grace that changed your life is also able to support you on this remarkable journey.

This month, we’ll be traveling with Paul as he leads the church through spiritual renewal. We will experience the liberating impact of divine mercy in the early days of the church. We’ll also be introduced to the Holy Spirit that completes the Trinity and learn about all the spiritual gifts that are available to us.

I pray that something you read this month will help renew your spirit. Be encouraged that no matter where you find yourself today, the path of transformation and redemption is always available to you.

Blessings,
